About me
Hi, my name is Jordi Masip. I'm a computer and programming enthusiast, a privacy advocate and a strong believer in free software.
My journey into the world of computers began in primary school when I built a website about The Beatles. Since then, I've been learning different technologies and programming languages while working on small personal projects. One of these projects, a pill reminder mobile app called DrugTime, allowed me to start my professional career working part-time at imbee.me, while studying ICT Systems Engineering at UPC. When I graduated in 2017, I started working full-time as a backend engineer at Onna, then at Vinissimus and currently at Doofinder.
Projects
These are some of the projects I built myself or that I'm a regular contributor:
- Async ASGI TestClient (2022): Python library to test ASGI web applications
- Guillotina (2018-2022): contributor and, as of 2018, core developer. Speaker at Plone Conf 2020.
- DrugTimeApp (archived) (2013): pill reminder app for iOS. Some blogs reviewed the app: Applesfera (in spanish) and Betes i clicks (in catalan).
